TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, website withdrawals, get more info pricing, and check here the bonus terms, is at Trade The Day.
